ABC Teachers are working collaboratively with a busy school in the Moseley area of Birmingham, to recruit a part time teacher to cover PPA and management time on a temporary 0.4 contract from December 2018.

The school is a popular 2 form entry which provides all pupils with a secure and positive learning environment by ensuring each child has access to a creative and challenging education. The school has recently had a change around in staff and is moving the school forward by putting the children at the heart of all they do.

The successful candidate must:

Ø Hold valid QTS

Ø Be able to encourage positive behaviour for learning

Ø Be approachable and friendly

Ø Have excellent curriculum knowledge as well as being proficient in numeracy and literacy

Ø Be flexible working across lower and upper KS2 classes

Ø Be a key team player and able to liaise effectively with the relevant colleagues

The position will be from December 2018 and will continue on a temporary basis until Easter 2019.

What to do next:

To be considered for this position you will be required to attend a face to face registration and hold an enhanced DBS check in Child Workforce. You will need to pay for this upfront, but once you are fully registered, have uploaded this onto the Update Service and have worked 1 full day with us then we will reimburse you the cost.  At the registration we will discuss in more detail the work that you are looking for, your experience to date, and also how we are going to work best for you. 

We will need to gain references to cover the last 2 years, and a minimum of 2 references must be a school based. Our compliance team have a rigorous safeguarding and clearance process and this is how we know we are working with the best possible team of staff to employ in our schools.
