This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing SEN (Quest) department of experienced teachers and help improve access to the International Baccalaureate curriculum and alternative pathways. Experience with working with autistic and dyslexic children would be an advantage. The successful candidate would join a well-established international school in London with high standards of teaching and learning and excellent opportunities for professional development. The department has undergone two transformative years under experienced leadership and the post-holder will join an established team alongside three other staff and outsourced specialists. The team are working alongside the subject leaders of all departments to ensure the MYP and DP curriculum can be adapted for all types of learners. The team takes pride in creating personalised learning plans including for gifted and talented students.

We will expect the post holder to be an outstanding educator who can lead by example and has a willingness to innovate. An international outlook is essential and experience of the IB programmes and international education will be a distinct advantage. Dwight School London is a values driven organisation and the successful candidate will have to demonstrate and understanding of and a commitment to student led, inquiry based learning and the attributes of the IB learner profile.
