Part-time Marketing, Sponsorship and Website Officer - Level 3  Grade 6: scp 7 - 10; 15 hrs per week, term time Salary: £20,092 to £21,322 pro rata

We seek to appoint a part-time Marketing, Sponsorship and Website Officer who will be responsible for the image of the school through the regular updating of the school website and quantifiably increasing the level of presence on social media and in local/national newspapers.  You will also promote the image of the school through the accurate, efficient and high-quality production, editing and distribution of all the school’s marketing printed communications materials and through the school website.  We would like this role to increase in hours as the income from the position increases.  

The right candidate will enjoy working in a dynamic and very busy environment, when thinking on your feet is often required, using your own initiative whilst working alongside staff and students to ensure that all marketing information is produced to a very high standard.  This is a role that would suit an ambitious individual who enjoys a very hands-on and multi-tasking approach to the working day. 

This is an ideal opportunity for a candidate to play a key role in ensuring the positive promotion of the school, thereby contributing to the journey of Ysgol Penglais School in becoming an excellent school.

Ysgol Penglais School is a very successful comprehensive school offering a high-quality education to nearly 1,300 students including over 300 in the sixth form. The school was established in 1973 and teaches mainly through the medium of English.

The school celebrates the success of its students every December at an annual Prizes and Certificates Evening at the Great Hall in the university.
