Embley operates regular School Bus routes mornings and afternoons during term time. Due to rising numbers we added new routes in September. Approximately 20 hours per week at £12.00 per hour with the possibility of additional hours.
We are looking for drivers to operate regular School Bus routes mornings and afternoons, both driving and taking responsibility for children in their care. The successful candidates will hold a D1 category, preferably unendorsed, driving licence. (D1 automatically on most driving licences issued before 1997.) MIDAS training will be given to successful applicants where required.
Minibus drivers are an important part of the school support team and they must relate well with both pupils and adults. You will be flexible; work well under pressure and be approachable and friendly with all pupils, parents and staff.
