Part-time Modern Languages Assistant (Spanish)

To start September 2021, we are seeking a part-time Modern Languages Assistant to assist in the teaching of Spanish.  

The role

You will conduct one-to-one and small group conversation classes, helping to cover lessons, assisting in oral examination preparation, and helping to provide a cultural background to the study of languages.  In order to succeed in this role, you must have strong academic qualifications and native speaker proficiency of Spanish.

The department

Modern Languages play an integral part in all stages of the curriculum at Oundle. Twenty-one teachers and eight language assistants form a vibrant and ambitious team, working together for the development of pupils' experiences and understanding of foreign cultures.

The details

Hours of work are 8.30am to 5pm on Mondays and Fridays, 8.30am to 1pm Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursday and Saturdays and 5pm to 6.30pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays (18 hours per week).  You will work Term Time only, which is 33 weeks per year.   Salary is £15,817 per annum.
