The role
A counselling service across the whole school, term time only, providing small group counselling sessions and 1:1 work. Also to provide a series of sessions on emotional intelligence to small groups of pupils in support of the PSHE programme.
There is also the opportunity to contribute to a thriving boarding environment.
About You
You're an appropriately qualified and experienced counsellor, with an understanding of the developmental, emotional, social and educational issues of children and young people. It would be an advantage if you have experience or knowledge of working in a school environment. You will have a commitment to best practice in pastoral support and student welfare as well as having personal warmth and high levels of personal and professional integrity.
