Job overview

We are seeking to appoint an imaginative, enthusiastic and committed teacher of A Level Economics to join this outstanding selective school for boys. This is a rare opportunity to join a friendly, collaborative and successful department in a genuinely high achieving school.

This part time post will involve nine hours of A Level teaching and we can be flexible as to when those hours are delivered during the week for the right candidate.

Benenden Healthcare is provided to staff members who wish to take up the opportunity.

About The Harvey Grammar School

The Harvey Grammar School is an all boys, selective, non-denominational secondary school with sixth form in Kent, serving students from the age of 11-18. The secondary school, situated in Folkestone has approximately 903 students on record. 

The Harvey Grammar School was founded in 1674. The school converted to academy status in 2012 and in 2016, it was identified as outstanding by Ofsted. A new 12 class teaching block opened in 2015.
