The Edinburgh Academy is a modern, exciting, vibrant co-educational school for 2 to 18 year olds. Housed on two characterful sites near the centre of Scotland's capital, the school provides a caring environment that provides an exceptional tailored academic offering alongside a broad co-curricular programme in expressive arts, outdoor education, sport and voluntary service. Our overriding ethos is derived from the school motto: ‘Always Excel’ as this informs our focus on pupil wellbeing and character development, giving our students the self-confidence, self-belief, resilience and determination to do their best.
We are seeking a Teacher of Mathematics to join this growing Department. Initially this would be on a 0.7FTE Part Time basis and would be for one term, from August to December 2021. The possibility exists, however, that this role will expand to a full year’s employment for the successful candidate. This role could be suitable for an NQT teacher seeking to undertake their probationary year and a full year’s employment would be considered in this.
