INNOVATIVE, MOTIVATED AND SUCCESSFUL
The Art & Design department at Oriel High School consists of five members of teaching staff and two technicians. They are a fantastic team of staff who are extremely passionate about their subject area. Art is a well-resourced department that boasts four specialist Art rooms; a photographic darkroom, a kiln room and a Sixth Form Study room. Our students have access to a wide range of equipment including digital cameras, pottery wheels, sewing machines, batik pots and a heat press. There are excellent support networks for the art team staff - both in the department and across the wider school and collaborative working is very important to us. Art is highly thought of at Oriel High School and this can be seen by the impressive amount of student artwork displayed all around the school.

Is an excellent teacher with the ability to stretch, inspire, enthuse and engage learners Can teach general Art and Design across Key Stages 3 and 4
Can specialise in Photography and/or Fine Art at A Level
Ideally will work Wed, Thursday and Friday
We have excellent support for NQTs and would welcome applications from newly qualified teachers who would like to grow and develop in an innovative and forward thinking department; or more experienced teach-ers looking for their first promotion.
