Required for September 2018   A Part-Time Teacher of Religious Education  (40%) 

Tapton is a high performing Specialist School with two specialisms.  RE is a successful department where the whole cohort studies GCSE Religious Studies. Over 30% of GCSE candidates gained A*-A, and over 70% gained A*-C in 2017. At A Level 80% of pupils gained A*-C. We are a happy and oversubscribed 11-18 comprehensive school; our building stands in pleasant grounds very close to the Peak District.  Tapton is a vibrant learning community and we are seeking a teacher of RE with the ability to teach across all key stages.  In return our RE department offers excellent development opportunities for an inspiring and well qualified teacher. The post would be suitable for experienced or newly qualified teachers alike.
