Harrogate Ladies’ College is looking to recruit a Part-time Teacher of Textiles to join the Art department from 1 September 2024. The school is looking for a well-qualified and inspiring Teacher of Textiles with a specialism in Art Textiles to teach from Key Stage 3 to A Level. The post is open to NQTs as well as experienced teachers.

The Creative Arts Department at Harrogate Ladies' college are seeking to employ an experienced and qualified, enthusiastic teacher of Art Textiles. The successful candidate will have a proven ability to lead on curriculum delivery, planning, reporting and assessment. They will work as part of a team to the delivery of high quality, well-resourced lessons to enable pupils to make outstanding progress and develop creativity within the subject.

Experience of working with a wide range of textile techniques and processes for example, print making, fabric manipulation techniques, garment construction and visual recording skills would be highly desirable and should be supported by a portfolio. Our pupils work creatively and artistically through a range of resources.
