St Mary’s College (Crosby) is an independent, co-educational school for children aged 0-18, located in Sefton, Liverpool. The school has a Christian ethos, specifically Roman Catholic, but welcomes pupils of all faiths. The total pupil roll is around 830.

St Mary’s College was founded in 1919 as a Catholic school committed to supporting the educational, spiritual and charitable principles of Blessed Edmund Rice, founder of the Congregation of Christian Brothers.  The college is governed by a lay board of trustees to whom authority was transferred from the Christian Brothers in 2006.  The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) is located in a separate Victorian house.

Principal

Michael Kennedy

These essentials include: instilling a lifelong appetite for the adventure of learning, a sense of compassion and service and a zest for living life to the full; developing informed, socially aware pupils with a strong sense of justice; and committing to the holistic development of pupils with the support of an extensive programme of extra-curricular opportunities.
