Part Time Teaching Assistant – Fixed Term Contract until 31/08/2022

18.75 hours per week 8:30 am – 12:15pm Monday - Friday

Grade 3

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated Teaching Assistant who has high expectations about children’s learning and achievement and is passionate about education. The successful candidate will be supporting a child with SEN in a mixed year 1/2 class in addition to carrying out general TA duties including supporting other children.


You should be able to demonstrate a commitment to uphold and promote our 4 core values:

You should also be able to demonstrate:

Excellent communication

A positive attitude to working as part of a team and real adaptability 

Experience of working with primary aged children

An ability to form effective relationships with parents/carers

An ability to supervise and support pupils’ ensuring their safety and access to learning

An ability to work with the teacher in lesson planning, evaluating and adjusting lessons/work plans as appropriate.

A willingness to undertake further training where appropriate to needs of the school 


     

Experience of working with children with special educational needs is desirable.
