PART-TIME CLASS TEACHER (0.6FTE)

19.5 hours per week, Wednesday to Friday

Fixed Term contract from 25th August 2022 until 31st August 2023

We wish to appoint enthusiastic and highly motivated temporary, part-time classroom teacher who will be working who is passionate about teaching and learning to work at Sherard Primary School.

We are all focused on doing what is right for our children and pride ourselves on being highly inclusive. We nurture our children and staff to ensure everyone can grow and succeed.   

We are looking for an excellent primary class teacher who will have high expectations for all children and who will be an excellent communicator with children, parents and colleagues and have excellent interpersonal skills. We encourage applications from ECT's.

You will be required to have a detailed knowledge of the primary curriculum and have a solid understanding of how children learn to their full potential. You will have a working knowledge of target setting and assessment for learning procedures to inform future planning, teaching and learning to achieve high standards.

About the Mowbray Education Trust

The Mowbray Education Trust (MET) is a multi-academy trust currently educating around 2,500 children from the age of 2 to 16 in the town of Melton Mowbray and surrounding villages in the Borough of Melton.  The MET currently has one secondary school, five primary schools and one pre-school; with potential numerical and geographical growth in the future.

Melton Mowbray is a rural market town in Leicestershire which is easily commutable from Grantham, Leicester, Loughborough, Nottingham and Oakham.

The MET has a central support services team, with staff managing Estates, Finance, HR, IT and Operations, across our schools.  The central team are based at offices within John Ferneley College in Melton Mowbray.
