Hours of work Monday & Tuesday afternoon (2 full days would be considered for the right candidate with the view of covering other departments when required)

Nunthorpe Academy is the lead Teaching School in the North East Schools Teaching Alliance – NESTA. Through this ‘school led’ system of self-improvement we focus on the key areas of School to School Support; Professional Development; Specialist Leaders of Education and Initial Teacher Training & Succession Planning
The Department
Nunthorpe Academy’s MFL Faculty is an experienced and established team, comprised of 4 full time teachers, 3 part time teachers and a Faculty Support Assistant.
The faculty offers students GCSE French, German and Spanish at KS4 and AS/A2 French, German and Spanish at KS5.
The Candidate
We require an energetic, inspirational and talented Modern Foreign Language Teacher with a genuine intellect and a passion for Languages. The successful candidate will have the ability and potential to deliver consistently outstanding lessons at Key stage 3, GCSE and possibly A Level; and be ambitious for the achievement of every student in their care.
