RECRUITMENT NOTICE

The Education and Training Foundation (ETF) helps ensure that the Further Education and Training sector develops world class leaders, teachers and trainers. We are looking to appoint a Participant Experience Manager to join our team which is responsible for the development and delivery of the Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills status (QTLS) and Advanced Teacher Status (ATS).

QTLS is the badge of professionalism for post-16 education and training, helping practitioners to advanced their careers and demonstrate their expertise and experience to colleagues, employers and learners. ATS has been recently developed and launched to allow those with QTLS to further develop their skills, knowledge and practice and provides the badge for advanced professionalism and mastery.

This will be an exciting and varied role and will work as part of a committed and enthusiastic team. As the Participant Experience Manager you will support the Head of QTLS and ATS to develop a growth strategy linked to improving the customer journey for all of our participants. You will have oversight of the progress each participant makes and provide first line support and engagement to ensure that every participant feels supported, motivated and confident to achieve their QTLS or ATS. Whilst attention to detail will be key, we are looking for an individual who is creative and innovative in their approach so that our work remains current and high quality.

You will be an experienced practitioner who has a strong focus and understanding of professional development of teachers and trainers. Experience in the coaching or mentoring of practitioners is important and this will ideally have been gathered through a teacher training or advanced practitioner role. Previous exposure working with stakeholders to develop programmes will be helpful as we will look to the Participant Experience Manager to co-lead, with the Head of QTLS and ATS, on our work with the sector to ensure the value that both routes can bring is recognised and we see growth in participant numbers.

Please note: specific requirements relevant to the opportunity are identified in the job description and person specification.

For an informal conversation about this role please contact recruitment@etfoundation.co.uk who will be able to organise a call with the responsible director for this area.

Applicants should apply by completing the ETF’s Personal Details and Equality & Diversity forms, plus submitting a CV and covering letter (2 pages maximum), outlining how you fulfil the requirements of the person specification. Please send your application via email by the closing date as outlined below, marked
