The Role

The Colne Community School and College is an expanding school with a dedicated Pastoral Team, looking after the students’ physical and emotional wellbeing throughout their time at The Colne. We are looking to recruit a conscientious and caring Pastoral Administration Assistant to provide the Pastoral Team with administrative support.

The position will suit an empathetic individual with good people skills who is organised and efficient.    


Some of your key responsibilities will include: 

  • Recording sanctions, attendance, and class charts producing behavioural reports and emailing daily notification to staff. 
  • Monitoring and maintaining the SLT call out system and logging against student records. 
  • Collecting students on call if required. 
  • Admin support for the Pastoral Hub.

  • Successful experience of administrative work in a busy office environment

This post is 35 hours per week (08:30am- 16:00pm), 39 weeks per year (Term Time, plus Non-pupil days). The stated hours include one half an hour unpaid break.
