  • Permanent - Full-Time 37 hours per week 
  • Term Time Only + 5 Training days – This means an incredible 13 weeks holiday!
  • Salary: FTE: C3 Circa £26K Actual Salary: Circa £22K

  • Hours: 8.00am – 4.20pm Monday to Friday with one day finishing at 3.50pm

As a pastoral advocate you will be joining a team which is committed in supporting the pastoral care of young people in education. If you have the skills to build relationships and positively influence students whilst coaching them through their own personal challenges? Then… this is the role for you!

Members of our Pastoral Advocate Team, have

  • outstanding organisational skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people including students, staff and parents
  • professional communication skills, able to maintain strong working relationships with a range of agencies including Social Services, the Police and the Cluster Team.
  • a compassionate nature, able to coach those students experiencing emotional issues affecting their wellbeing and learning
  • the creativity to set up activities to improve students’ life chances through the development of transferable employability and social skills, aimed at supporting their next stages in education or training
  • an approach which ensures student rewards are celebrated consistently to raise aspirations for all

Members of our Pastoral Advocate team, will benefit from
