To work alongside the Pastoral Manager to develop an effective and supportive pastoral offer at Kickstart Academy. The post will involve dealing with challenging behaviours but helping students to reflect upon these and build strategies to deal with them. It will involve being responsible for dealing with day-to-day behaviours that arise within the academy and ensuring these improve over time.
The key responsibilities will be: tracking and monitoring student behaviour, helping to develop a school-based pastoral programme, maintaining home/school links, liaising with the EWO, arranging and attending disciplinary meetings, and evaluating student progress within your area.
