Vision and values

Cromwell Community College has the following core values: care, whereby pupils are encouraged to care not just for themselves but also those around them; respect, whereby tolerance of all cultures and belief systems is considered paramount; and community, whereby students are urged to take pride in their surroundings and their school.

The secondary school works hard to provide for students with special educational needs, of whom there are an above-average number.

Ofsted report

Pupils enjoy a wide choice of subjects suited to their abilities and interests. The most able pupils are steered towards three sciences, humanities and foreign languages to enable more of them to gain the English Baccalaureate (EBacc) qualification. A small proportion of less-able pupils follow a curriculum matched to their needs and abilities in order to develop their literacy and numeracy, promote their social skills and study qualifications suited to the workplace.”
