We are seeking an experienced Pastoral Care Support School Officer to join the St Augustine’s College team.

The primary purpose of the role of School Officer – Pastoral Care Support is to support the operation of the Pastoral Centre and the work of the College’s Pastoral team. The role also includes providing some administrative support for the wider school community.
This is a Full-time and Term Time and Continuing position commencing January 2022.

The successful candidate will be a team player who will work collaboratively with others. Please refer to the position description attached for more details about the duties and requirements of the role.

To be successful in this role you will:
• have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education;
• Ideally with First Aid & CPR qualifications
• Must hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement; and
• Be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.

Weeks Worked:  School term weeks only (holidays unpaid)

Tenure Duration (If Fixed Term): 

Total Paid Hours (per wk) & Days Required: 38 Hours per week (Monday - Friday)

Salary Level, Range or Hourly Rate: School Officer - Level 4 - $32.23 per hour

Employment Conditions:  Diocesan Catholic Education Employing Authorities in Queensland Single Interest Agreement
