THE ROLE:
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and suitably qualified candidate to proactively collaboratively with pupils, staff and parents/carers to promote positive behaviour among all pupils, and to help pupils overcome barriers to learning. The successful candidate will plan, deliver and evaluate the impact of behaviour interventions and work with external agencies as required.
ABOUT YOU:
You will have experience of working with children of a relevant age, dealing with difficult situations relating to poor behaviour and experience of working with outside agencies and participating in meetings. You will be able to assess pupils’ needs and have a well-developed understanding of strategies to manage and support young people with challenging behaviour in a school environment.

Smithills School is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational secondary school situated in Bolton, Lancashire. There are approximately 1200 students at the school, between the ages of 11-16.
