McAuley College is seeking a qualified, experienced Teacher for the role of Pastoral Leader – Year 7 & 8 to commence in Term 2, 2020. The role is a Tier 2 position and currently oversees approximately 120 students across the two year levels.
You will take on an exciting role, joining a dynamic team of teachers and Middle Leaders as the school enters its fourth year of operation and expands to include Years 7 to 10 in 2020.
Experience in the role of Pastoral Leader would be advantageous, as would experience teaching across and implementing new QCAA Senior subjects.
Teachers should have a capacity to integrate technology as a tool to enhance student learning and embed whole school literacy and numeracy expected and effective teaching strategies. Accreditation to teach Religion in a Catholic School is a distinct advantage.

All applicants must have either interim or full registration with the Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) or be eligible for registration.
