The role will be predominately The Parker Academy but with occasional travel to your academies and of course, to build on your relationship with our fantastic E-ACT colleagues.

Role Purpose:


The pastoral support worker will facilitate the smooth running of the academy through the supervision and support of students demonstrating challenging and/or vulnerable behaviour.


Key responsibilities:


• Always uphold and positively model academy values to students.


• Work as part of the pastoral team in the behaviour hub and in classrooms.


• To motivate students by providing information, advice and guidance to enable them to make the right choices to manage their own behaviour, learning and attendance.


• Assisting Heads of Year in producing and implementing Pastoral Support Plans (PSPs).


• To assist students with behavioural needs to modify their behaviour in order to re-integrate into mainstream classrooms without adversely affecting the behaviour of other students.

 

Pay range: NJC 18-22 Pro-Rata, London Fringe Allowance
