The City of Norwich School – An Ormiston Academy is an exciting forward thinking Academy with high expectations for all its staff and students. We are now seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, experienced and committed Pastoral Manager to join our team.

The successful applicant will provide a child-centred and personalised learning environment that is responsive to individual needs and circumstances. They will lead and manage student behaviour and welfare across their House and provide support to all students in ensuring they receive high quality pastoral care throughout their time at CNS in order to overcome personal barriers and raise aspirations

Salary: LG Scale G (points 26-28), 37 hours per week, term time plus two weeks (GR9004)(Full time equivalent salary £22,937 - £24,472) £20, 147 - £21,495 (actual gross annual salary for 37 hours per week, term time plus two weeks)

The successful applicant will be an excellent team player able to demonstrate meeting experience of lliaising with parents over routine pastoral matters and making referrals when necessary. They will also demonstrate experience of working in an environment where students experience social, emotional and behavioural problems that give cause for serious concern. Previous experience in a similar role or similar environment or setting is essential.
