Pastoral Manager

Grade 7, point 24-28 (£21,962 - £24,964 pro rata)

We are looking to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic Pastoral Manager at Whitworth Park School and Sixth Form College. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day management of an agreed School House on all pastoral matters. Each Pastoral Manager in school is linked to a House Leader.

Applicants will need to demonstrate evidence of a wide range of knowledge and experience relating to pastoral issues. We are looking for key players within the school pastoral system who show an ability to work, where needed, with limited supervision and who can report, accurately, to a House Leader with regard to the welfare and safety of students within their care.

About Whitworth Park School and Sixth Form College

Whitworth Park School and Sixth Form College is a mixed, mainstream secondary school located in County Durham. The school has a sixth form and admits students aged 11-18. 

Whitworth Park School and Sixth Form College is a foundation school administered by Durham County Council and Spennymoor Community Learning Trust. The school moved into new buildings in 2014 that were officially opened by Prince Edward, Duke of Kent. The school offers GCSEs, BTECs and Cambridge Nationals as programmes of study for pupils, with some vocational courses offered in conjunction with local colleges.
