Do you have excellent interpersonal and organisational skills and enjoy working with young people and adults? We require Pastoral Support Mentors to join our Student Support team, to help identify and work with students with barriers to learning that may affect their attendance and ability to successfully complete their courses.
You will need a good standard of literacy and numeracy (minimum Level 2) and have experience of working with people in a supportive or pastoral context. You will also need to have good IT skills in order to work with students and maintain records. You must be a self-starter with the ability to work autonomously and be able to prioritise your own caseload.
We have both a full time (37 hours per week) and a part time (18.5 hour per week) position available, working Monday to Friday across our Wirral campuses.
