34.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (term time plus one week)
This is an exciting opportunity for a suitably experienced support worker to join the team at Victoria Primary Academy. The role is crucial in ensuring the highest levels of support for children in school and their family beyond school. You will be central to supporting children with their emotional, mental health and behaviour needs. Working closely with the Inclusion Manager, Teachers and the Senior Management Team, the post holder will be responsible for dealing with a range of issues in accordance with the Academy’s behaviour policy
If you have
- a Level 2 qualification in English and Maths
- a qualification / training or experience in Health and Social Care or a similar subject or
- relevant experience in an Education setting
- resilience, flexibility and the ability to address potentially challenging situations by problem-solving and negotiation
