The Brian Clarke CE Academy is looking to appoint a strategic, creative, and proactive individual to be a Pastoral Support Officer.

As Pastoral Support Officer, you will support the provision of high-quality pastoral care and education. You will develop a positive culture of achievement for students focussing proactively on progress, behaviour, attendance, punctuality, safeguarding and welfare.

This position will be based at The Brian Clarke Academy, Oldham, but may from time to time require travel as necessary to collaborate with other schools which are all locally based.

The Brian Clarke CE Academy is a new school school for Oldham, providing an excellent education for children and a school community that is a true microcosm of our town - aspirational, multi-cultural, multi-faith and multi-talented.

The school opened with a founding team of staff in September 2022 to 240 young people and will continue to grow annually to a pupil body of 1200.

As we grow it is important that we continue to recruit exceptional staff to achieve our vision and create a genuinely outstanding school for the young people we serve.
