Oaks Park High School is looking to appoint an exceptional and ambitious candidate to work with Pastoral Leaders to support  with the welfare and behaviour of a year group .

The successful candidate will:

  • Have a proven strong track record in working within a school or educational setting and relish the opportunity to motivate and inspire students to achieve their full potential across a whole year group.
  • Have a firm understanding and commitment to equal opportunities in its widest sense and be fully committed to inclusive education.
  • Be able to role model our Oaks Park team ethos.
  • Be knowledgeable in strategies to support young people with challenging behaviours with confidence.
  • Have experience in working with external agencies to help support students.
  • Be able to provide visible support to a Pastoral Leader.
  • Be able to confidently communicate with parents/carers to resolve issues both successfully and in line with school policies and procedures.
  • Have knowledge and understanding of teamwork within an organisation.
  • Have experience of working  in a large mixed comprehensive school/organisation.
  • Be a good communicator with excellent interpersonal skills to build productive relationships with students, parents, and staff. 
  • Be flexible and a good team player
