Young Epilepsy is the leading national charity working exclusively to improve the lives of children and young people with epilepsy and associated conditions, and is based on a beautiful campus in Lingfield, Surrey, providing world class services.

Working as a full member of the extended leadership team within our department of Further Education, this is rare and exciting opportunity to be involved in the operational and strategic management of our education programme at Young Epilepsy.

You role will develop, manage and monitor programmes of learning within a specific area, whilst also contributing to the teaching of this area. You will line-manage lecturers within the relevant learning pathways, undertake and contribute to research, and lead and develop internal networks, by chairing and participating in meetings.

You will be educated to degree level (or equivalent), with a Certificate in Education, and Assessor Awards V1, V2, and V3, or be willing to undertake this award. Considerable teaching experience is a must, as are a track record of working with students with special educational needs in a post-16 sector, and experience of managing staff. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills will be combined with a flexible and resilient approach to your work.
