Job Title: Payroll Administrator 


Location: Knottingley , West Yorkshire


Pay: £17,000 to £19,000 per annum (Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications.)


Contract dates: Immediate start

The Role


As a Payroll Administrator, your main duties will be:


• Helping and understanding payroll 


• Update both the SIMS digital and paper records for existing students.


• Act as first point of contact for parents/carers and other visitors to the school.


• Log student attendance and update registers daily on SIMS and administer school meal system.


• Complete the annual update of SIMS student records. (Printing, distributing, monitoring returns & amending data recorded on computerized system as necessary).


• To use IT databases effectively to deliver administrative tasks.


• To be participative in the wider school Administration Team – carrying out duties and tasks, as required, especially at times of busy periods or to cover absence as directed by the Business Manager.


• Develop good working relationships with outside agencies and stakeholders –pupils, parents/carers, teachers and professionals.


• Comply with the policies and procedures relating to child protection, health, safety and security, confidentiality and data protection, reporting all concerns to an appropriate person.


• Participate in training and other learning activities and performance development as required.


• To undertake any other duties that are commensurate with the post.


Requirements:


• Available full time Monday-Friday 08:00 16:00 with potential work from home. 


• Have payroll experience and use of Civica, Iris and or iTrent. 


• Must be SIMS Trained.
