Delta Academies Trust is looking to appoint a Payroll & Pensions Co-ordinator to join our Trust for January 2019. This is a permanent, full-time role to work 37 hours per week on an all year round contract; we would, however consider a job share arrangement for the right candidate(s).


The role will be based at our head office in Knottingley and the successful candidate will provide an efficient and accurate Payroll and Pensions service to the Trust as a whole.

The responsibilities for this role include:-

• Supporting the Payroll Supervisor in the payroll checking process.

• Supporting the Payroll Officers in payroll processing as and when required.

• Maintaining manual and computerised records/management information systems and completing data cleansing exercises periodically.

• Processing and maintaining pension information as required.


To be considered for this role you must have  GCSEs, or equivalent at Grade C or above including English and Maths, a recognised and relevant vocational qualification (NVQ Level 4) and/or equivalent practical work experience and a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a payroll post. Experience of processing education payrolls would be beneficial, though not essential as training will be provided.
