We have a fantastic opportunity for a Payroll and Pensions Officer to join the David Ross Education Trust based in Loughborough. Your role will be to oversee and operate the Trust’s payroll process, working closely with the Trust’s outsourced payroll provider.
We are looking for an experienced payroll officer who is proactive and keen to further progress their career within Payroll. You will have previous experience of processing of multiple payrolls and will require a full understanding of PAYE and NI, statutory payments and deductions, salary sacrifice and pension deductions along with good level of knowledge of current relevant legislation.
Who we are looking for
Good literacy and numeracy skills and you will be an excellent communicator with the ability to handle various payroll queries and reconciling errors
High standard of Microsoft Excel skills including use of pivot tables and complex formulae and a good understanding of Microsoft Office.
Able to work to busy deadlines and prioritise workloads effectively
Strong data entry skills and a keen eye for detail
You will have the ability to work as part of a team or individually using your own initiative.
Salary and benefits
£26,000 to £28,000 pa
