The Portsmouth Grammar School is a leading co-educational school located in the historic heart of Portsmouth.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and well organised administrator to support the efficient runnng of the school's PE & Games Department.
In addition to the teaching of PE and Games, the department offers a significant co-curricular programme of sporting fixtures and specialist coaching. PGS has an excellent record of success at regional and national level in all major sports and organises regular UK and International sports tours.
The successful candidate will have exceptional communication and time management skills and will be able to work independently with flexibility and inititiative to prioritise a busy workload.
This is a part-time post for 30 hours per week during school terms.

ISI Report 2022
During an ISI Inspection in late 2022 both the achievement of the pupils, including their academic development and the personal development of the pupils were found to be excellent - the highest possible classification. The Inspection also looked at the School’s compliance with the regulatory standards and requirements. PGS met all the standards required.
