PE & Games Teaching Assistant

We are seeking to appoint a full-time PE teaching assistant from September 2019 to join our exceptional PE & games department. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of an independent, non-selective, Outstanding School whose PE department is at the forefront of ISA (Independent Schools Association) sport.

A particular strength in the coaching and umpiring of netball would be advantageous. 

The successful candidate will not only have a proven track record in the delivery of netball primarily but will also have a working knowledge of gymnastics, hockey, rounders and athletics. Expertise in dance and or swimming would also be desirable. 

The pupils at Gatehouse absolutely love PE and games and the department enjoys huge support from all parents.  

You will:

• Be dedicated and passionate about Physical Education
• Be inspirational, enthusiastic and committed 
• Be able to teach across the 3 – 11 age range
• Have good interpersonal and administrative skills
