Job overview

We are looking to recruit a passionate, knowledgeable and flexible individual from a sporting/coaching background to support children with PE provision across both of our campuses. The majority of your time will be spent delivering PE provision within curriculum time to all year groups within Claycots.

The candidate will need to hold relevant sporting qualifications in Football, Rugby, Tennis, Gymnastics, Cricket, Hockey or Netball and knowledge of the PE National Curriculum for KS1 and KS2. The successful candidate will also need experience of working with children, as well as demonstrating professionalism at all times.

Who are we?

Claycots School is a large, multi-site school which is judged Good by Ofsted. Currently we have 1700 pupils over two campuses in Slough making us a unique school to work in.

 

The ideal candidate will have a good standard of written and spoken English and maths skills at a suitable level to support children from Reception up to Year 6. Experience of working with children is essential and additional support and training will be provided. 

The successful candidate will need to be hard working and committed to ensure all pupils reach their full potential in sport.

Claycots School is an 8 form entry primary school with two campuses in the diverse and rapidly-expanding town of Slough, Berkshire. Our Town Hall site, situated on the Bath Road serves the community of Central Slough, Chalvey and Upton. Our Britwell site, situated on the North of Slough serves the communities of Britwell, Lynch Hill and Manor Park.
