We are looking for a passionate, ambitious, motivated teacher of PE (male or female) with the skills to lead an experienced team of committed PE teachers. You would be joining an innovative, supportive Hub team consisting of Hub Leader, Teaching and Learning Leader, Raising Achievement Leader, a Lead Practitioner and a team of dedicated, highly valued, successful PE/Humanities and Expressive Arts teachers.  This post offers an excellent opportunity for you to lead curriculum development and enjoy teaching PE at KS3, KS4 and KS5 in a new, vibrant, well-resourced learning environment.

We invest significantly in our middle leaders and you would have access to quality support and training through our work with PIXL, our bespoke Middle Leaders training and through access to our coaching programme.

We welcome candidates who share our College Vision:

To develop an inclusive, dynamic, high achieving learning community, where all students and staff are happy, whilst being supported and encouraged to be ambitious, achieve personal success and make a positive difference to their world.

We can offer you:

  • a challenging, rewarding inner-city multi-cultural, multi-faith community 
  • committed, enthusiastic, creative staff and students 
  • a fantastic, well-resourced inspiring learning environment 
  • access to excellent technology resources including iPads for staff and students 
  • high quality staff development and support programme including mentoring and coaching

Leicester is a fantastic place to work and live, with its diverse community, excellent rail and air links, superb theatre, art, music and film scene, outstanding sporting success, impressive shopping, including Europe’s largest covered market, the National Space Centre, lovely countryside and, of course, Richard 111!

Please come and have a look around and see for yourself how you could become part of our wonderful College community.

This College is committed to Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. This post is subject to a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Enhanced Certificate.

Closing date: Monday 24th April at 12 noon.
