We are looking for a PE Instructor to join our fantastic team at Trent Acres, Kings Bromley.

About the Role

Working as PE Instructor at Trent Acres School, you will deliver fun educational based learning to individual pupils and small groups of students for PE & Games and any other practical based activities that could engage and motivate students. You will be supported in partnership with the teaching staff to ensure students reach their full potential.

This role is offered on a permanent basis working 40 hours per week. We are looking to appoint a flexible, dynamic and dedicated individual with experience in working with pupils with Special Educational Needs.

Educated to a Minimum GCSE Grade C in English and Maths and with a Relevant Subject Qualification you will be calm, engaging, resilient, and have an innovative style of teaching, motivated by helping every child to reach their potential.

Options Trent Acres, is a newly opened service and situated on a 12 acre site offering an integrated residential, education and care package for children between 8 and 19 years with a wide range of complex needs, Autism and associated learning disabilities The school is purpose built, modern and welcoming with a range of specialist learning areas including an indoor and outdoor riding school and outdoor gymnasium. Children also have the opportunity to work with our horses, donkeys, goats, alpaca and chickens. Learning outside of the classroom is a fundamental part of life at Trent Acres. We have a dedicated staff team who are focused on the delivery of high quality, child centred, bespoke packages of care and education.

Options Trent Acres School doubled its pupil numbers from 30 to 60 with effect from 1 September 2021 and this is an exciting time to join our Team as we recruit to into new job roles as part of our continued growth and development.

Our service is in within easy reach of Stoke, Derby, Telford, Stafford, Lichfield, Burntwood, Rugeley, Burton-on-Trent, Tamworth, Uttoxeter and surrounding towns.For over 16 years Options Autism have provided care and education to children, young people and adults with autism, complex needs and learning difficulties.
