More about the role
North Bridge Enterprise College in Doncaster is a registered independent education provision for pupils aged between 14 and 16 who have been or are at risk of permanent exclusion due to their challenging behaviours.
As a Teacher within our school you will be providing professional learning and development for all pupils through establishing personalised learning routes across Key Stage 3 and 4 as well as Key Skills Communication at levels 2 and/or 3.
You will be playing your part in helping the school achieve its aims and values. You will be delivering an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum for students with support from teaching staff.
What do you need?
We are looking for a qualified Teacher with at least 2 years’ experience teaching young people with SEMH and is experienced in teaching PE across key stages 3 and 4.

Pupils
We cater to pupils aged 14-16 years, both male and female, who are at risk of or have been permanently excluded from mainstream schools. The reasons for exclusion can vary, but they often stem from challenging behaviours that we are equipped to address.

Our fully qualified and experienced staff bring a diverse range of subject specialisms and training to our college. We offer vocational courses in areas such as Food Technology, Media, and Uniformed Services, and we are continually expanding our curriculum to align with the interests and needs of our pupils. While our new specialist premises are being developed, we are currently based at the Eco Power Stadium. We provide a safe and nurturing learning environment designed to re-engage students in their education. We are committed to offering opportunities both in and beyond the traditional classroom.
We hold high expectations for all our young people. With the right environment, relationships, and support, we know every learner can thrive. Our goal is clear: to equip our young people with the skills, confidence, and qualifications they need to make the greatest possible life choices post-16.
