An exciting opportunity for an experienced and aspirational PE Teacher to join our vibrant and dynamic sports department.
Although the role is predominately based in the Junior School, being a through school, there is also the opportunity to teach KS3.
The successful candidate will possess excellent subject knowledge and be able to contribute to teaching and co-curricular activities within the whole School. The ability to coach and lead in sports provision, as well as to support the wider work of the department to encourage both participation and the pursuit of sporting excellence for girls is an essential requirement.
Due to the extension and development of fixtures within the school, a strong commitment to co-curricular activities is vital. Experience of driving a minibus would be beneficial.
The Department:
Sport plays an important role in Junior School life. Girls are challenged in a broad range of activities as part of the curriculum. Our major winter sports are Netball, Hockey, Swimming and Gymnastics and our summer sports include Athletics, Tennis and Cricket. We've had considerable success in recent times, with our U11 girls winning the GDST swimming rally, amongst other triumphs!
