We seek to appoint an outstanding teacher of Boys’ Physical Education who is dynamic, enthusiastic and ambitious. The successful applicant will be passionate about inspiring our students and be a team player to work collaboratively with colleagues. Our department is well resourced and offers a wide range of courses including GCSE, A Level and BTEC Sport. We also offer an extensive extra-curricular programme. Commitment to both of these areas is essential. This post provides exciting opportunities for either an experienced teacher or an NQT. We offer a full support and induction programme for all new staff and commitment to continued professional development.
The successful applicant will be:
Qualified to deliver the PE curriculum across Key Stages 3 – 5 to the highest standard
An ability to teach examination PE is an advantage
A well-qualified individual
An excellent communicator who is able to meet deadlines
A reflective practitioner who is willing to take an active role in the wider life of the school
A strong team player with a "can do" attitude
Passionate about the success of students, the department and the school

Tring School is very popular and over-subscribed, serving the town of Tring and the surrounding villages. It is a mixed Church of England comprehensive school with over 1500 students on roll including 330 in the Sixth Form. Academic attainment is well above average and improving year on year.
