The  Swiss International School of Qatar is seeking a dynamic PE Teacher to teach lower Primary classes from September 2020. This is an exciting and challenging opportunity to be part of the founding team of educators that is consolidating the IB PYP at SISQ. 

SISQ is a young IB continuum school and is fast becoming one of the leading educational institutions in the region.

The successful candidate will have the following essential qualities:

  • An outstanding PE teacher first and foremost
  • Experience teaching PE to younger students (ages 5 to 8)
  • Flexibility and strong collaborative skills
  • Willingness to use subject knowledge in an innovative way within the PYP framework
  • Self-direction and self-management 
  • Excellent subject knowledge, preferably with a degree in Physical Education or a strong Sports degree
  • A commitment to student learning and safeguarding  

The following qualities would be an advantage: 

  • Experience in IB PYP
  • Experience in an international setting.

Swiss International School opened its doors in 2017 with an initial enrollment of 300 students from PK to grade 8. As Qatar's fastest growing school, SISQ now enrolls 800 students and offers a full IBDP program. We are slated for further growth and expect to reach an enrollment of 1,400 over the next few years.
