In Secondary, our students will follow the IMYC (International Middle Years Curriculum) , before progressing to High School Diploma. Students will graduate with an IB Diploma and/or a High School Diploma accredited by NEASC, a US accreditation organization, preparing our students for the best international universities.

Due to the significant growth in our students numbers across the school, we’re looking for a PE Teacher to join our amazing team who:

  • Plans, prepares and delivers PE lessons to suit the individual educational needs of all students & facilitate purposeful active learning and teaching
  • Carries out student assessments/evaluations in line with departmental and school policy
  • Records and analyse students’ progress, advising students how to improve by setting achievable targets
  • Improves all students in learning and ensure all students make progress
  • Prepare required reports on students and activities as requested by Head of Primary
  • Develops Curriculum Maps and Lesson Plans to reflect curriculum policy
  • Is able to teach a specific curriculum area across the Primary  School, in line with the IEYC ,IPC , and IMYC at times leading specifically in certain areas.
  • Can work collaboratively with class teachers ensuring the curriculum is well matched to the needs of each learner
  • Is able to create learning opportunities which maximise the facilities and resources we offer
  • To ensure their subject reflect whole school and community opportunities
  • Devise strategic subject action plans in their area
  • Is able to ‘bring their subject to life’ across the school
  • Is deeply passionate about teaching and learning in their subject area across the school
  • Demonstrate a record of high quality teaching in this subject 
  • Approaches school life with enthusiasm and a commitment to ‘make a difference’ to the children at THIS
  • Is innovative, flexible, creative and enthusiastic
