Job overview
Giggleswick School is seeking to appoint a full-time teacher of PE who is enthusiastic, highly motivated and able, wishing to teach across the 11-18 age range, especially GCSE & BTEC Level 3 or A Level specifications.
An ability to coach at least one major team sport (Hockey, Cricket, Rugby, Netball) is desirable.
This is an established department with a history of excellent added value for each student. Every year a significant number of pupils go on to study the subject at University. Sports plays an extremely important part in life of the school and all pupils and staff are involved in the games programme.
Giggleswick School is situated in the stunning rural location of the Yorkshire Dales, just over an hour from both Leeds and Manchester.
