Wedi'i lleoli dros 3 safle modern wedi'u hadeiladu'n bwrpasol yn nhref marchnad Dinbych, mae'r ysgol yn cynnig addysg arbenigol o ansawdd uchel iawn o 3 i 19 oed ac mae ganddi ddarpariaeth breswyl ffyniannus 38 wythnos.

Bydd yr ymgeisydd llwyddiannus yn arwain Uwch Dîm Arweinyddiaeth sydd wedi'i hen sefydlu a bydd yn gweithio mewn partneriaeth gyda llywodraethwyr, staff, pobl ifanc a'u rhieni/gofalwyr ac asiantaethau partner. Barnwyd bod yr ysgol yn rhagorol yn arolwg diwethaf Estyn (Mehefin 2010).

Rydym yn chwilio am Bennaeth sy'n gallu dangos profiad a thystiolaeth o lwyddiant yn y meysydd canlynol:

  • Arwain a datblygu canolfan ragoriaeth mewn addysgu plant a phobl ifanc sydd â Chyflwr Sbectrwm Awtistig ac anawsterau dysgu penodol cysylltiedig
  • Profiad helaeth yn ymwneud â phlant a phobl ifanc sydd â Chyflwr Sbectrwm Awtistig ac anawsterau dysgu penodol cysylltiedig
  • Sgiliau cyfathrebu a rhyngbersonol eithriadol ac mewn amrywiaeth o amgylcheddau
  • Arwain tîm mawr ac amrywiol o staff
  • Darparu gwasanaethau allgymorth i gefnogi ysgolion prif ffrwd ar draws yr holl Gyfnodau Allweddol o fewn yr Awdurdod Lleol ac ar draws y rhanbarth
  • Comisiynu a darparu adnoddau ar gyfer ystod eang o wasanaethau
  • Gweithio gyda diwylliannau amrywiol

The Governing Body of Ysgol Plas Brondyffryn is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dynamic Headteacher. Ysgol Plas Brondyffryn is a Local Authority maintained, special school for children and young people with Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC) and other specific learning disabilities. Spread over 3 purpose-built, modern sites in the market town of Denbigh, the school offers very high quality specialist education from ages 3-19 and has a thriving 38 week residential provision.

The successful candidate will lead a well-established Senior Leadership Team and will work in partnership with governors, staff, young people and their parents/carers and partner agencies. The school was judged to be outstanding in the last Estyn inspection (June 2010).

We are seeking a Head who can show experience and evidence of success in the following areas:

  • Leading and developing a centre of excellence in the teaching of children and young people with ASC and associated specific learning difficulties
  • A depth and breadth of experience relating to children and young people with ASC and associated specific learning difficulties
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills in a range of environments
  • Leading a large and diverse team of staff
  • Providing Outreach services to support mainstream schools across all Key Stages within the Local Authority and across the region
  • Commissioning and resourcing a wide range of services
  • Working with diverse cultures
