Job overview

We are looking to appoint a pro-active People and Culture Business Partner within our award winning Multi-Academy Trust based in the North East. This is a brand new role within our team and you will place a pivotal role in shaping our people processes and practices.

You’ll provide a proactive, strategic and solutions-focused business partnering service to a client support area within the Trust in line with Laidlaw Schools Trust values and strategic objectives. You’ll act as a conduit between the central People & Culture service and key stakeholders.

This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your career within a growing Trust. It’s likely that you are currently working in a HR generalist role with an established background in employee relations and support to key stakeholders but keen to develop and grow into a strategic partnering role. This brand new role builds on an established operational People and Culture team and will provide a refreshed service to our academies.

There is scope for project work and involvement in activity across a broad HR spectrum from operational to talent development, management and business partnering and we would be especially keen to hear from candidates with a background in education or similar industry. You will have CIPD level 5 or equivalent experience.

We offer excellent benefits including 31 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), employee healthcare cash plan and salary sacrifice car scheme.
