Job overview
Norwich School is looking to appoint a permanent, full-time Performing Arts & Events Technician with effect from April 2023. The role is 42.5 hours per week over 40 weeks and the salary is £24,822 pa.
The ideal candidate will have worked in a theatre environment and be experienced in using sound and light equipment. They will possess excellent interpersonal and organisational skills as well as the ability to work alone and under their own initiative. It is essential that the successful candidate has a flexible approach to working hours as these will vary throughout the year depending on the school’s calendar of activities and requirements.
The successful applicant will assist with the day-to-day management of the Blake Studio and other performance/rehearsal spaces, as well as providing technical support to all productions, concerts and other events at the school or at external venues.
