Performing Arts Assistant

Claremont School, is a co-educational, independent day and boarding school for children aged from 1 to 18 years.  We have approximately 700 students with a community of approximately 100 boarders from the UK as well as other countries around the world, adding an important international and multi-cultural dimension to the School.

We are seeking an enthusiastic Performing Arts Assistant, with expertise in Music and Drama, to contribute to school life.  The successful candidate will have a passion for the Performing Arts as a whole.  The position will require teamwork, flexibility, compassion, resilience and a good sense of humour.  Although this is a non-teaching position, and holding a teaching qualification is not essential, there will be opportunities to involve yourself in both the academic and co-curricular life of the School. This position could serve as an excellent springboard into teaching or other child-centred careers.

There is an option for this to be a residential position, with full board and lodging provided as part of the role.  Please note that the accommodation provided is only suitable for a single person, we do not have accommodation suitable for a family or pets. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
