The Creative Industries department are looking for a full time teacher to support the delivery and quality of our Further Education and Higher education Performing Arts delivery at our Lichfield Campus following an increase in our learner numbers.

We are looking to appoint an outstanding, highly motivated and experienced teacher in performing arts, to work alongside our team, and in ensuring the quality of the L3 provision and HE. The role will require a firm understanding of the new BTEC specifications and quality assurance processes, with a wide appreciation towards all aspects of performance.   

The successful candidate must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a sound understanding of the performing arts curriculum, teaching across a range or performing arts disciplines and practices.    

A degree or relevant performing arts qualification supported by relevant industry experience is essential, as is a  PGCE or DTTLs Teaching qualification and experience in delivering BTEC Level 2 & 3 Diplomas and in HE Musical Theatre practices to ensure delivery and assessment quality processes are met.  The successful candidate will have knowledge towards new BTEC specifications and a need to demonstrate Safeguarding and PREVENT expectations.     

Experience of internal and external verification processes and previous experience in using Promonitor to track learners and set targets is desirable.
